Ooops

Kris pointed out just now that I had turned off the reply form. I was making some database updates and didn't want to have any replies lost while I was shuffling things around. But those changes were done with on Friday and I forgot to turn the form back on! Sorry :)

As it's been mentioned, we picked up Jak II for PS2 last week. If you ever needed a reason to buy a PS2, this is it. When we bought the GameCube, it was because I desperately wanted to play Zelda: Wind Waker. I suppose I wouldn't know what I was missing in Jak II if I didn't already have the game, but it's pretty amazing.

After we played the game for about 6 hours, I was disappointed because the save screen told us that we were 30% done with the game. Now that we have played another 8 hours and are less than 50% done, it gives me hope that we won't be done with it next week.

The game has gotten significantly harder too. The original Jak & Daxter certainly had it moments of difficulty, but this has gotten to be ridiculous. Both Kris and I have spent some time trying to get over the current hurdle, and I'm beginning to think we're going to have to pay some 13 yr old to get past this part for us so that we can continue.

This is shaping up to be an exciting week. Not only do we have tickets to see a movie every night this week (tonight: Shattered Glass, tomorrow: Bonnie & Clyde) but the season premiere of 24 is tomorrow night also. I think we're probably going to have to tape it.

I was going to email...but I was already at the cyborg site, and had signed out of my e-mail...and was quite lazy, so took the easy way out. If Kris hadn't told you by today, I was going to send info to you direct.

Sounds like a good game for you two...I'm still stuck on Spider Solitaire...
