Keyphrases

It's been almost a month since I've remembered to take a look at our site statistics. Now that I've looked, I'm praying that we don't get an email from our webhost for the amount of transfer we're doing. (12 gigs last month, yikes.)

I browsed down to the "Searches by keyphrase" section, and just about fell out of my chair laughing. Some people type the most ridiculous things into search engines. So far in October, we have a list of 85 different keyphrases recorded.

A few of my favorites:

(october)

dual shock 2 sticky buttons
las vegas emmisions
tattoo arm cyborg
fucking slogans for t-shirts
disorderly exciting discoveries milne
play boy movie (this probably lead them to Crapisode I: A Boy and His Lightsaber, but I don't think that's what they were hoping for)
thank you for not sharing
wtfwjd
ant apartment infested
joann s coupon

(september)

like good teeth. warm coats. bald husbands
futurama suppository good news
why he s no fun he fell right over
georgia drivers license fake
both tires were flat
ron or ronald smith graphic design or designer tulsa (for real)

Most of the rest of the searches have to do with the final fantasy videos Kris did.

Also, apparently there are a whole raft of people out there looking for instructions to make folded paper stars, which, conveniently, I have in the crafts section.

That's interesting that you have so many hits for the paper stars. I wonder if that is what they were really looking for when they went there. What about 'weave-it'?

Thanks for the new post; getting tired of looking at the old one. :)

There are a number of hits for weave-it too, but not nearly as many as the paper stars. I think the paper stars are popular because you can buy a kit from Martha Stewart's site (kit probably contains: paper, obtuse instructions).
