40% Off

Now that the Innards have been revamped, it almost pains me to look at this site. Maybe I'll finally get off my butt and redo this side too.

Maybe.

I bought my new Dell back in May. I finally got my rebate today. It was fortuitous, as moments ago Kris mentioned that we should call Dell about it, and I went to the online rebate center and could not find the status of my rebate. I actually said, out loud, "I will call them. But let's check the mail first." I was procrastinating the telephone run-around, not anticipating actually finding the rebate check in our mailbox. I was saved an aggravating phone call, which probably would have made for an interesting story here, but I'm glad to make the sacrifice and take the easy way out.

The mail also brought me my first mailer with coupon for Joann's fabric. This is probably exciting only to me, but almost everything crafty I buy these days comes from Joann's at 40% off. It's always an exercise in self-control to go into the fabric/craft store and buy only one thing, but I have successfully done it many a time. The trick to the Joann's coupon mailers is that if you don't use them, they stop sending them. You don't have to use every single one of them, but I try not to tempt fate.

Hurrah for the wonders of timing.

I got my new backpack today, I couldn't decide between two, so I got both styles from KMart.com, intending to take the one I didn't like back (they don't actually carry them in store). They only sent one of them. I really like the one I got, but had to call them to figure out what happened to the other one.

So I am in the middle of customer service hell. Glad you aren't :)

No, No...you are not alone, Crafty One...but you're better disciplined than I am! I can hardly ever trust myself to go in and just get one thing!

YAY! I need to go to Joann too! I have a coupon that expires today or tommorrow and I need fabric for heavy curtains, and then I need pillow forms...or possibly just batting. YAY FOR CRAFT COUPONS!!!
