Crapisode I is no longer being hosted by Theforce.net, but through the marvels of modern science, we are now able to provide you with the film on THIS VERY SITE. What's more, you can choose which tyrannical, evil video format you want to watch. We're serving up both Windows Media and RealPlayer, for your begrudging enjoyment.

For the best results, do NOT try to play the film in your browser or stream it from this site into your player. It is a rather large file and you will most likely calcify into a statue sitting in front of your computer waiting for the movie to start. Instead, you should right click (ctrl-click for you Maccies) the appropriate link above and save the file to disk to view it from there.

It is a good idea to have a substantial amount of RAM (more than 64 MB) and a PII+ or G3+ processor to run the film smoothly. It's a little taxing on systems because of being a full 30 frames per second, which was necessary for a variety of reasons, not the least of which being the director's stubbornness in retaining a high-quality presentation for his low-quality film.

This copy is really pretty crappy quality, though technically impressive for having been compressed by a factor of 10 (the original is about 500 Megabytes, about 10 times bigger than these files). It can play a bit choppy and the image quality leaves a lot to be desired. If you want a better copy, get in touch with me and we'll try to work something out.

If you really want to do me a favor, you could share these files on your personal P2P program of choice. That way more people can enjoy the material without taxing the resources of this site, which are not that great to begin with. I personally recommend Grokster, which seems to be the least annoying of them all. Also, make sure not to slouch in your chair or sit too close to the monitor- we don't want to be responsible for promoting bad posture and eye damage. And it wouldn't hurt to floss afterwards.
